NTW by Novalk is a range of water-based stains specifically designed for wood. These stains offer exceptional transparent power, providing a remarkable shade with good light stability. Highly concentrated liquid metal-complex dyes in an organic-aqueous solution make NTW stains suitable for the formulation of immersion dyes (flow-coating), especially for beech products requiring excellent uniformity. NTW stains demonstrate good compatibility with water, glycols, and alcohols, while fair compatibility is observed with acetone. These stains can be overcoated with nitro, polyurethane, and acrylic coatings, as well as water-based primers and finishes. Moreover, after applying an insulator, NTW stains can be used in polyester cycles, showcasing their versatility in various wood finishing applications.
