The processes with UV drying/curing opened a new door for us in the field of furniture, saving production costs, due to its fast drying and obtaining high quality and hard finishes.

These UV products use photoinitiators, which trigger a chemical reaction with the help of UV lamps, obtaining a fast and uniform drying.

The drying products by means of UV lamps can be water-based or solvent-based, the latter being either acrylic, polyester or mixed..

• The first one, using UV primer to correct surface imperfections. It is recommended to sand the pieces previously.
• Secondly, apply another coat of primer, to increase the coverage and quality.
• The third and last step requires to apply a layer of lacquer, also called finish, achieving the degree of gloss and protection for a professional process of great curing speed.
