POLYESTHER PRIMERS AND FINISHES

These are products which, through the action of specific accelerators and catalysts (peroxides), cross-link to form films of high hardness, with excellent covering power and very low abatement.

They are specifically recommended in processes on closed-pore sheets and lacquering on high quality and design furniture.

With the use of these paints the maximum quality, resistance, performance and durability are achieved.

To apply polyesther paint, three coats must be used:
  • The first one using sealing paint, also known as primer or pore cover. It is mainly used to correct surface imperfections. It is recommended to sand the pieces before applying primer.
  • Secondly, apply another coat of primer, to give thickness and quality.
  • The third and last step requires to apply a layer of lacquer, also called finish, achieving the degree of brightness and protection in a professional process.
